The college was established in the year 1984 as per the G.O. Ms. No. 509/EDN dated 28-11-1984, thanks to the efforts of Sri. Mandava Janaki Ramaiah, chairman of Kshetrayya general and Technical educational society. Prof. M.V.Rama Sarma the then Vice Chancellor of Sri Venkateswara University, who belongs to Movva inaugurated the Degree college.
