B.Sc. (Bt.B.C) course with Botany, Bio technology and Chemistry was introduced in this college during the academic year 2008-2009. As a part of this, the Department of Botany was established in the same year i.e, 2020-2021.B.Sc with combination of zoology was introduced in the academic year 2020. From 2008 – 09 academic year science courses were started with combinations of BZC groups. It is the only government degree college for Krishna district and has been catering to the educational needs of for the past 23 years. This college is one of the few government institutions that are greatly admired for its location being in the heart of the town
